What Knownwide collects, why, and where it goes.
This notice covers report requests, contact messages, private report links, scoped work, and payments. Do not submit passwords, medical records, confidential case material, or unrestricted analytics credentials through a public form.
Operator and contact
Knownwide, the public operating name operates this service. Privacy requests can be submitted through the dedicated privacy-request option on the contact form. A legal contracting name has not been supplied for public display if none appears above.
Information collected
Confirmed public business details; service and market scope; contact name, work email, optional phone and role; consent timestamps; contact messages; limited abuse-control hashes; report, correction, delivery, scope, and payment records; and customer-provided files or access only when separately authorized.
Purposes
To confirm the correct firm, fulfill and deliver requested work, respond to messages, protect public forms, maintain an audit trail, process separately accepted payments, correct published work, and meet security or legal obligations.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts and protects the application and provides Turnstile. Supabase provides database, authentication, and private storage. Google Places confirms selected businesses and PageSpeed Insights may provide requested website measurements. Resend handles transactional email. Stripe handles card details for separately accepted fixed-scope payments; Knownwide does not receive full card numbers.
Private reports and sharing
Contact details and internal notes are not embedded in published reports. Report links are signed, revocable, and excluded from indexing, but anyone who receives a valid link may be able to open it. Sensitive access should not rely on secrecy of a URL alone.
Retention
Request, report, correction, delivery, security, and transaction records are retained while needed to provide the service, preserve version and audit history, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting duties. Records are deleted or de-identified when those purposes no longer apply, subject to backups and required records.
Rights and requests
A person may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Knownwide may request enough information to identify the correct record and may retain records that must be preserved for security, transactions, disputes, or legal duties.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary admin authentication uses secure session cookies. Public forms use Turnstile for abuse prevention. The application code does not intentionally load non-essential advertising or marketing cookies. Cloudflare account-level analytics must be kept consistent with this notice by the owner.
Transfers and security
The providers listed above may process data in the United States or other locations under their own contractual and security terms. Knownwide uses access controls, signed private links, server-side validation, rate limits, private storage, webhook verification, and log-redaction rules, but no system can promise absolute security.
Owner review is still required for the public legal name, direct privacy email, jurisdiction-specific rights, and final retention/legal obligations before paid recurring services are enabled.
